Chromebooks and 1-to-1 Program

Students and teachers in Hardin ISD have a variety of digital tools to use in the classroom and at home in order to access content from a variety of platforms.

Students in grades PK-6 utilize campus based Chromebooks and Computer Labs to access digital content while at school. Grades 7-12 have access to 1-to-1 Chromebooks which are issued to the students at the beginning of the year to utilize both in class and off campus.

Students in grades 7-12 are responsible for their assigned Chromebook and if the device needs repairs or service, should inform the campus office who will coordinate service and repairs with the Technology department. Loaner Chromebooks will be provided in most cases if the student's assigned device can not be repaired the same day. Students who are issued a loaner device are expected to return them to the librarian at the end of the school day to have the battery charged.
